About DrinkData

DrinkData – Alcohol Tracker is built and run by one developer.

This page tells you who is responsible for the app, how it makes money, what happens to your data, and how to report something that is wrong.

Published and last reviewed September 9, 2026 by Aaron Woods.

Who is behind DrinkData?

Aaron Woods develops and operates DrinkData under the AW9 name in Melbourne, Australia. Aaron is responsible for the iOS and Android apps, this website, and support.

You can verify the public developer details on the App Store and Google Play.

How does it make money?

Most of DrinkData is free. Premium is an optional, one-time in-app purchase. There is no subscription. Money from Premium pays for development, hosting, and maintenance.

This website does not use paid testimonials. The everyday-life stories on the home page describe ways someone might use the app. They are examples, not customer reviews.

What happens to my data?

The app keeps your drink entries and personal drink library on your device by default. You do not need an account for core tracking. An account is required to buy or use Premium and to sync profile settings.

Premium cloud backup is optional. If you turn it on, DrinkData uploads the history and custom drinks needed to restore your data on another device. The privacy policy has the full description.

How do I report a problem?

Email drinkdatasupport@aw9.dev if you find a factual error, an unclear product description, a privacy concern, or a broken link. Include the page address and what you think needs to change.

When a correction changes an informational resource, its text and reviewed date will be updated.

A health note

What DrinkData cannot tell you

DrinkData totals what you record and shows patterns in that history. Standard-drink totals, energy figures, goals, and reports are estimates for information and self-tracking. They are not medical advice, a diagnosis, or treatment.

The app does not measure your blood alcohol concentration or impairment. It cannot tell you whether it is safe to drive or do anything else where impairment could put someone at risk. Ask a qualified healthcare professional for personal health advice.

The full health disclaimer explains these limits in more detail.
